"The 3rd UCLG ASPAC Congress 2010,Hamamatsu"
@The 3rd UCLG ASPAC Congress 2010 was successfully held in Hamamatsu from 19th until 22nd of October.
@@As the main supporter, we wish to extend our deepest appreciation to
the city of Hamamatsu and all parties involved in the implementation of
the congress, as well as our gratitude to all participants.
@@The congress was participated by 172 representatives from member organizations under the Asia Pacific Regional Section of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG ASPAC). These delegates were also joined by 142 representatives from Japanese local governments. Through seminar sessions and panel discussions, the delegates were provided with a platform to exchange their views on a wide range of issues common to local governments in the Asia Pacific region, such as gMulticultural Societyh, gClimate Changeh, gTourism Promotion Through the Use of Local Resourcesh and gIntercity Cooperation in the Economic Sectorh.
